Get Gabi's Off The Ground

Gabi’s Ground is pleased to announce the inaugural event, Get Gabi’s Off The Ground!

Gabi is my 21 year old daughter who has Down Syndrome, she is high functioning and very outgoing and loves life. She had a VERY HARD time finding a job, we applied to many places but they all turned her down, she was getting depressed so we decided to create her own business, Gabi’s Grounds Coffee shop and we will employ people with disabilities.

The celebration will take place Sunday, November 3rd at PLUS Dueling Piano Bar from 6pm to 9pm on Glenwood South in Downtown Raleigh. This annual benefit event is a significant source of support for Gabi’s Grounds; all proceeds will be used to assist in opening a permanent location so that we can further our mission by employing individuals with IDD in addition to continuing to increase awareness of the employment gap and support IDD individuals in middle and high school.
